    This CD starts off heavy, dark and melodic, sounding much like early Isis. From there the CD is all over the place. Some songs stick with the Isis feel, mixing that band's old and new sound into an interesting concoction, but some songs are more like chaos, math rock. All the songs kick ass but it's almost difficult to get used to the dynamic changes the band has with every song. It seems like the band is still trying to settle on their own sound, and in the meantime writing really good songs that borrow off of the bands that they like. Certain tracks are for fans of Isis and certain tracks are for fans of the last two Converge albums. If Transmission0 can solidify a little more their second album will be spectacular.
