And I thought I was old... Tarot has been around since the early 80's, and they are still rocking the house!

Originally called Purgatory, they changed their name to Tarot and signed a record deal. And 20 years later they are still kicking. These Finnish rockers keep Rock and Roll alive with a slight Power-ish twist. Tarot is fast, heavy, consistent, and interesting to listen to, and you can hear the band's maturity within each song.

Excellent musicianship, clean, high vocals with a dash of keyboards is Tarot's recipe for success, and I am happy to be reviewing them. They are the type of band you can relax to - grab a beer - and truly enjoy (much like a good jazz band). And although most elitists would classify them as "gay metal," I must say that Tarot really push the envelope with originality. I am positive all fans of Power Metal and raw Rock n' Roll will really dig Tarot, as I have.

    Hail Finland!
