In the continuation of re-issuing late classics (such as Darkane's Rusted Angel), Regain Records has released one of Naglfar's onyx gems, Diabolical. The Swedish masters of all that is grym and Tr00 (oh come on, give me a break...I haven't written a review in over a month, my adjectives and imagery are shot) have a fairly strong following in Europe, and now in the U.S. of A. Diabolical (as well as ALL the band's catalogue) is essentially horns-up black metal that rips through the listener with machine-gun tremolo picking, lots of unending, relentless blasting, and some yummy (although faint) keyboards that make all black metal so delectable! :-D A good, solid black metal release, but don't expect anything new, folks...you could get the same exact thing from Dark Funeral, Gorgoroth, or Limbonic Art.One word: Rah.
