The music on this CD is so good; Elvis on speed couldn't get you to shake your shit this much. The only problem is Lords only gets you to shake it for about 12 minutes. These seven songs really do kick ass but they are "grindcore" short, and with this style of music it kind of leaves you asking for more (the longest song is just shy of two minutes, unless you count the hidden track which is the entire CD backwards).Stylistically, Lords plays a kind of technical rock/punk. The guitar riffs are full of scale runs and grit. The vocals are somewhere between crooning and shouting, and they fit perfectly with the music style. The drumming is a straightforward thumping that keeps the energy level flowing. All in all, Lords is a great band, I just wish I could hear more of it without starting the CD over again, but it's worth checking out.
