Let's bang our heads like it's 1985. Oh wait, this was released in 2005? Silly me, sure doesn't sound like it. Featuring Hank Shermann, Michael Denner and Hal Patino, well known members of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate, this album sounds exactly as you would think. Only caveat though, it is much less interesting and evil sounding than those bands (ironically enough). The album starts out well enough with the title track and followed up by "Back to Hell." But things start to unravel as the next nine songs drone on and on. Slow to mid paced power metal that could put you to sleep. The final track "S.O.S" ends the album on a positive note thankfully, but doesn't make up for a run of the mill old school metal album. It's quite a shame though as one would think that Denner and Shermann had more life in them. Not the worst thing in the world but nothing to write home about either. They do give you 12 songs and almost an hour of music, but I can't help feel if they cut half the songs and used the best parts of them, it would be a pretty enjoyable 35 minutes of music.
