    Wow.

That's pretty much all I can say about this insane trio from Milwaukee. Foetopsy is a straight-up, no-nonsense gore/grind metal band that takes the rules and boundaries of the genre and pushes things to the extreme... the ultimate extreme. In fact, this very well may be the heaviest thing I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot). There is nothing technical, nothing melodic or intelligent about this band's music. Foetopsy carries the mentality of playing music as heavy and fast as possible, and pulls this off very, very effectively. I can't even think of one band off the top of my head that even comes close to matching the sickness of this. From the gutturals down to the lightning-fast (and when I say lightning-fast, I mean this blows Flo Mounier's blast beats away) blast beats, Foetopsy delivers track after track of fast-melting grind that spans on average of 90 seconds a track.

I'm going to leave this review fairly short and just let you hear the music for yourself. If you're a fan of extreme music and even dwindle along the path of grind, YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO LISTEN THIS BAND. This release is essential on the basis of its extremity alone. This is like The Berzerker without its industrial elements. I proudly hand Foetopsy a 5-skull rating for being the first band in quite a while to make my jaw drop straight to the floor. This band isn't going to be for everyone, but hey... everyone is curious to stick their heads in the bowels of hell at one point or another. This is metal's vomitous, festering mass.

Also check out: Brodequin. The drummer from Foetopsy (Jon Engman) has just replaced Chad Walls as the drummer in this band.
