    Conspiracy A.D. is an Italian death metal band that has been around since 1999. This past winter they released their new full-length album Humanity = Destruction . . . The End Is Near. This album takes the classic death metal sound and combines it with elements of black metal and hardcore creating an undeniably intense listening experience.

    When I first got this album I wasn't quite sure what I was going to think about it, but my decision was clear once I pressed play. From the very beginning all the way to the end, Conspiracy A.D. gets you hooked with melodic speed picking, super-heavy drum and bass lines and sinfully dark vocals. There is definitely the use of crazy time changes and they surely have the need for speed, but this album is by no means boring. This band isn't trying to be evil, it is obvious that they are, and I like it a lot.

    I highly recommend this album to any fan of heavy death metal or black metal. The hardcore element is not as strong, but it could still be appealing to those of you into that scene. For thirteen bucks I think it is worth checking out. All eleven tracks will be worth your money.
