Ceremonium describes an altar used for ritual purpose prescribed for persons obedient to custom and practice. No Longer Silent builds a platform for the masses to spread this aura of dark metal. The band stays true to their roots and original style while expanding their musical score. Musicians of this band have the ability to trade off riffs of proficient doomy resonance while segmenting the sound of each track thereby highlighting each member’s identity. This release features a death metal cover, "Cromlech," courtesy of Darkthrone, an early purveyor of blasphemous black metal.

This doom-laden effort delivers the darkened emotion of a twisted train wreck. Even with repetitive tonal orchestrations, the intensity shift carries heavy walls of vibration. The track "Delusions of Grandeur" stands out with its intense menacing sound. Feel the darkened energy and listen to the powerful guitar tracks blasted your way. This music shudders in a slow heaving way similar to early works by Disembowelment (great band). Musical cycles are complete with shifting tracks featuring smooth transitions. Speed, infested guitar solos lend a balance to the murkiness of this doom. Ceremonium specialize in dark metal featuring disharmonious riffs, listen and immerse yourself in the pit of morbidity. Lyrics this time out feature a philosophic bent feel the “ancient ones power, time to clean the world with fire”. This record unfortunately has a bit less of the doom element present on their debut album Into the Autumn Shade, perhaps due to the loss of their original bass player. A little short with only six tracks, including the cover, however this is a good effort by a band, which has been admired over the years. It’s time for them to focus their energy and accept the Blessing of the Flame.
