    Unchecked Aggression sounds like Metallica in a Texas trailer park. You can decide for yourself whether that is a compliment or a criticism. Although the sound and production is impressive for a self-released CD, the artwork does nothing for me and the CD booklet is boring.

    Unchecked Aggression are good musicians and have some fun guitar solos in their music. However, I think they sound dated. Nonetheless, I am willing to give this CD a three skull rating. Now I have to justify it.

    The Massacre Begins is an excellent CD that is well produced and there is very little wrong with it except I think a lot of the riffs are lame. However, I could easily see other people really liking this CD. For example, I hate Andrew WK, but he appears to be liked by lots of people. I am sure if I had received a demo of his CD, I would have given it zero skulls and would have been baffled by the fact that it showed up on the Billboard Top 200. Unchecked Aggression is way better than Andrew WK, so maybe there is hope for them.
