Well I'm two for two - two weeks, two demos. Yes, it's another one bound for the cutout bins folks. What a joke, another quest for NWBHM, God please impale me now! This band of mishaps hails from Athens, Ohio, and claim to portray a blend of melodic death and thrash metal with the early 80s metal movement. Thinly veiled melodic and thrash light elements are apparent enough, obviously, there are no effects, pedals, down-tuning or even competent production skills. The band claims to be influenced by Slayer, Iron Maiden, and King Diamond - no wonder no one's at the wheel.

The band’s website reports they are gearing up to tour this summer in support of At One With The Shadows including an appearance (no doubt pay to play - that's hilarious!) at the Milwaukee Metalfest. Overall, this is all about highly melodic, speedy thrash metal that will impress no one. Skeleton Witch attempt to reach into the closet and pull out energy and old-school thrash riffs; oh where is Tankard when you need them? Truth be told, this is so bad...well can't even say here, there's not much within you haven't heard before from similar poser bands. Too kind you say? Okay, then the energetic and catchy-speedy riffs are so entertaining, only to be eclipsed by the hysterically bad, rasping vocals.

If you dare, try and download a track or so, say, "The Skull Splitter," for a side splitting laugh fest, or better yet "Every Corpse Shall Burn," oh please stop. Where is the momentum? They better pray to find some. Production deficits coupled with thin guitar lines and weak vocals leaves - nothing, hey two for two!
