These young guys have an interesting history. All the members of Progressive Death Procedure are native Greeks, but they are all attending school at the University of Essex, in England. Which raises the question: did they all know each other prior to being in Essex, or did they meet at the University?Either way, I like their style! Their info sheet was very extensive, and I tend to like that more than a short biography. What Progressive Death Procedure has here is an excellent demo, which impressed me very much. (And that it is hard to do these days, as everyone already knows.) The overall production of this demo was done very well, considering they only had three days to complete all the studio work. It is also good to note that all members have previously played in other "CD releasing" bands, which explains their explosive talent.
Before the lyrics even began, I was intrigued with their riffs and the distinctive melody they present. Their sound is very reminiscent of the Swedish Melodic Metal scene. I will try and avoid comparing these boys to other bands who have already established themselves firmly in the Metal scene, just because I don't feel like comparing them to big band names. However, Progressive Death Procedure will satisfy anyone who has a strong craving for melody served with Metal!
Check these guys out...and I will be very pleased to see them get signed to a decent label!
