Sabbath's Review:
As I always state, I have a special love for Finland.

Considering that there are only two songs on this demo, I wasn't given much to work with here, but what was presented on this demo was superb! These dudes are heavily melodic, with vocals similar to Soilwork, older In Flames, and mixed with parts that sound much like the clean vocals of Borknagar. They almost gave me the feeling that came over me the first time I heard Embraced, but they haven't earned that much credit as of yet. And laying the backdrop for all these goodies are the catchy riffs courtesy of Vesa and Tuomas. It seems that the Finns are somehow naturally born with an extraordinary musical talent...or maybe they just work harder, who knows...no matter what it is, I can see how these two songs got Pain Confessor a deal with a label.

I encourage everyone to keep up with these guys and check them out. They have already released an 11-track album entitled Turmoil, so I will now have to check that out as well!
