Slither's Review:
Tune down the guitars, twist the singer's nipples, fuzzify the distortion and everybody get ready to hate your fathers, OooooEeeeee!!! It's gonna be a nu-metalin good time my friends! Make em say Uh! Bounce, just fucking BOUNCE!!!To be fair, this awful demo only jumps da fuck up, and backs da fuck up for 80% of its tracks. There is a brief punkish respite from suck on the third track, but the material is nothing special, even the most ass-backward black metal bands find more creative ways to recycle power chord riffs than these guys. The five tracks play out something like this: Bounce, Bounce, Punk, Ballad, and Bounce. The punchy and irritating bass tone only serves to accentuate how bad this album really is. Guys, if you wanna play ball with the kids who move albums, you have to get some phat bass going. You can't steal hip hop aesthetics and not take the bass, that's just the way it is.
My personal hatred for this kind of music is certainly an issue, but I am well aware of what constitutes "good" bad music. And None More Evil are sorely lacking in the good department. I would swear this was an attempt by a bunch of high school kids to get some pussy by playing the talent show if I didn't see the picture on the back of the album. Guys, 3 of you have to be pushing 30, it's time to call it a day.
Two word review: Please Stop.
PS: Having a girl sitting on the shitter for your album cover and calling it, Waiting for Nothing? If the humor is intentional then kudos on not taking yourselves too seriously, but I suspect you honestly didn't make the connection.
