  • Sabbath's Review:
Upon opening this demo, I was immediately impressed by their package presentation which was done very well. Not only was their demo package notable, but I was immediately taken aback by their crushingly powerful sound the moment their demo hit my speakers. These SC boys most definitely have their shit together, which saved me from another shitty demo review, and some harsh words.

Lecherous Nocturne's sound is insanely brutal. They got me excited for Death Metal all over again, much like when I recently saw Suffocation live. If I had to describe their sound, I would say it is a vicious mix between Morbid Angel and Exhumed, with a sprinkle of Cryptopsy on top for a flavorful feel. On top of a heavy, old Death Metal influence, they have a slight Grindcore presence as well. I have to give it up to Clay Lytle, because he is simply an amazing drummer!! (Who has recently been replaced by Chad Walls?)

Skilled drumming, excellently deep vocals on behalf of Hohenstein, and guitar technicality that reminds me much of Cryptopsy are the attributes that make Lecherous Nocturne who they are, and they should be SIGNED to a label pronto. Without exaggeration, this is undoubtedly one of the best demos I have received from the Metal Judgment team . . . ever. (At least in 2003-2004.) This demo is nothing but fast, in-your-face, ass-pounding Death Metal that is sure to leave you gutted. Good job boys - you have managed to impress me a bit, which lately has been pretty hard to do.

Note: They asked for an honest review, and got one 100%. Cheers!!
