  • Sabbath's Review:
I seem to be reaching for my demo pile more than my release pile these past few weeks, and I am still not quite sure why I have been doing that. (And after listening to Hiding Tower, I am going to stay away from my demo pile as long as possible.)

So here I am with another demo from Italy... Woo Hoo. Hiding Tower has a lackluster approach to Metal on Disappearing World. They decided to keep all their vocals completely clean yet Power-ish, and the music remains mid-paced throughout the four songs. The guitars were ok, vocals were borderline dull, and I was thoroughly annoyed with the keyboards, when I normally love bands that add that element to their music. Hiding Tower also decided to make this demo the beginning of their journey down "concept alley," as they seem to have agreed upon making all their releases from here on out "concept" albums.

These guys are not notable, impressing, or original; therefore, I do not really care what happens to this band. I will give Hiding Tower a lifeless A for effort, a conscious F for fucking boring, and 0 skulls for making me listen to their garbage.
