  • Lubugrious's Review:
Midway through the second track on this three-song demo something very odd happened: I started humming a song from Shadows Fall. The riff, vocals, and every little aspect of "Entity in Dissolution" is so reminiscent of the previously mentioned band that, to be quite honest, it is pathetic. While Shadows Fall do deserve all the respect they get (this is not flattery), it is an insult to a very talented band.

Everything about this band is crap, complete stinky crap. Simplest way to put it, this wish-we-were-metalcore band has nothing original to offer the world of metal. Not only is it an imitation of some very good bands, but they can't even do it well!! The vocals range from a typical raspy hardcore voice, and not a very good one at that, to some of the worst clean vocals ever recorded. Not saying I could do much better, but still, my ass probably could. The riffs are not much better then the vocals, of course the typical power chords and breakdowns in everything else.

This is not the worst thing these ears have heard, but to find myself wanting to listen to another band while in the middle of a track is just sad. Nothing good can be said about this, or at least anything that hasn't been said before. A few kids will think this is something new, and go home blasting it on the speakers while Mom yells for them to turn it down. If you are a serious hardcore fan, and have nothing better to do on a Friday night, check this out. If you have any taste, you will at least get a good laugh out of this.
