    Hel's Review:
First and foremost, these guys deserve 5 skulls just for being from Brazil and finding Metal Judgment. But beyond the fact that I'm happy they ponied up the bucks to send their demo all the way to New York, they really are a good band.

They didn't send some fancy press kit, but I'm sure just sending the cd was costly enough. This is a case where it's completely ok to send a bare bones press kit. Bare bones it may be, but lacking information it certainly is not.

There's a complete bio and quotes from reviews that are clearly credited to the people and publications they're from on one sheet. By the way, there is no language barrier here, it is written in excellent English. The other sheet has complete contact and merch info. They offer both the cd and a t-shirt, which is also pretty impressive. Finally, they refer to their website everywhere, and it's also quite good.

Press-wise, these guys have it together. But how's the music, you ask? It's pretty damn good too. The vocalist has a good complement of voices, the main one being reminiscent of Glenn Danzig. Sadly, I've never been a fan of this vocal style, and I find it detracts from my overall enjoyment somewhat. But there are also death metal tendencies exhibited, and that I can't help but enjoy.

The production is better than I expect from the demo. There is a nice variety in the songs offered. They are all obviously from the same band, but do not all sound exactly alike. But by far the highlight of this disc is the music. While I don't necessarily like the vocals, I found that if I ignored it and concentrated on the rest of the song, there's great substance there.

The guitar work is fantastic. There are several areas throughout this demo where I've stopped and considered how good the guitar work is (see "Lack of Me.") And while the drums are a little low in the mix, what I am able to discern sounds great. Regardless of the fact that I had an up-front reason not to like them, they've won me over. These Brazilians can jam some serious metal.
    5 out of 5
