    Does anybody really miss Pantera? I mean, they were decent enough for a mainstream band, good party music, but am I the only person who thinks they are more than a little overrated? I don't understand why so many bands want to sound like Pantera, seems like setting ones standards a little low. Davidan is one of those Pantera clones. The riffs, the vocals, the lyrics, even the tough-guy redneck image is reminiscent of Anselmo and co. This doesn't make Davidian a bad band, it just makes them boring and irrelevant. If I wanted to listen to some Pantera, then I would do just that. Clone bands don't interest me.

    As for band info, Davidian haven't set themselves up too well either, no website whatsoever, just an email address, hell I don't even know what state these guys are from and it might be a good thing, I really have no interest in ever hearing this band again. I wish these guys were just flat out terrible so I could really rip into them, but the bottom line is they are competent musicians, they just don't have any originality in them. If you like Pantera, try and check out Davidian.
