    I'm in pain right now. My ears are bleeding and my eyes are blurry with tears.

    Why? Well, it's because my sides hurt from laughing my ass off listening to this demo by Sweden's own Crashdïet.

    One look at the cover and you'll understand. I swear I have not seen this much makeup and hairspray since Pretty Boy Floyd shared their own version of torture with the world. Looks aren't everything though, right? Perhaps there's some good music hidden beneath the Aquanet? Ugh... no.

    Crashdïet's music is exactly what you'd expect... 80's glam/sleaze hard rock faux metal. Singer Dave Lepard is grating on the ears, rarely hitting a correct note, especially higher ones. You've heard cats in heat or nails on a chalkboard right? That should give you an idea. The lyrics are just as silly and juvenile too, which I'm sure is intended and would have fit in fine... 15 years ago.

    This was heading for a straight up ZERO skulls, but I have to admit that the playing is decent and that the music itself isn't that bad. Decent guitar solos gets them a skull, but no more.

    Since Crashdïet isn't clicking for me, should I try Atkin's? Someone pass me a steak!
