    Well, I am absolutely ecstatic to receive such a professionally done demo...and to add to this positive madness, these young boys are from the land of a thousand lakes. This demo is professionally packaged; therefore I have decided not to make fun of their poor English on their information sheet. Making fun of them would have been an option if their music sucked.

    Finland has always had some form of Metal as an essential part of their lifestyle, as well as their local mainstream. The minute you go there and see the scene for yourself, you will understand what I am talking about. Metal is a very accepted form of music in this country, which makes it easier for bands to flourish there. I always get extremely overexcited when I receive an album/demo (or any new band for that matter), from Finland. This country just seems to produce Metal machines that are capable of sound perfection.

    Right off the bat, I can say this demo is well produced and mixed. The quality was pretty much excellent compared to the usual demo crap I get. X-Hated is this bands fourth demo, which is surprising considering how good they are. I would describe Celestial Sorrow's sound as Heavy Metal chiseled with a fine Finnish tool, with some awfully powerful riffs harmonized to please the ear. But more of less, they are just Finnish Metal (I think this term speaks for itself). Within this mix, there are keyboards that surface, almost like icing on a cake. At times Teemu has that very famous Alexi Liaho sound, but he creates his own uniqueness.

    I can honestly say that I really loved this demo (for once), and I am rather shocked this band is not signed yet. They would be a great investment for any record label to dabble in, and are most likely guaranteed to be huge. I wish them the best of luck, and encourage everyone to check them out.
