Do you like Metallica, Testament, and Megadeth? Sure, who doesn't? Well if that old style thrash is what you crave, then Blistered Earth is for you. All Thrashed Up And Nowhere To Go is an awesome demo. You should go to their website and get it. It has the sound and feel of early thrash metal.Okay this is not the second coming or anything, but it is great to hear a demo that is done well. It kicks ass from beginning to end and has a lot of cool riffs. I especially like the guitar riffs in the second song, "Faded Glory." "Throne of Dirt" also has some great guitar playing on it. The drummer does some great work on that song too.
If you are craving some excellent thrash metal, then go and get yourself a copy of this CD. I understand that these guys are looking for a guitar player too, so if you love playing thrash, then you should contact them right away. This band has opened for a lot of awesome bands and should be out playing gigs and making more recordings. What the fuck are you waiting for?
