I was really excited to see Twisted Sister. I've seen all the other bands before, but I've never seen Twisted Sister live. I've met the band and I've talked with the band, but I've never had the pleasure of seeing them play live. This was truly a special metal-moment.Of course, after fourteen years, these guys were wicked rusty. I didn't care. I wasn't expecting them to really be that good. I was just happy that they were getting back together for such a good cause. In fact, I was surprised at how good Dee Snider was. I had heard rumors that he was a bad-ass lead singer back in the day, now I'm a true believer.
Nonetheless, I think the best band of the night was Overkill. They rocked the hardest and were the tightest. I really wasn't feeling Ace Frehley. He was good, but he just creeps me out. I still think Eddie Van Halen inspired more kids to pick up the guitar!
