Now that I've given it a couple solid listens I can definately say this is a solid album. City was so long ago it almost seems unfair to draw comparrisons. Where this album lacks in the over-the-top insanity of City it makes up for in the depth that, imo, City was lacking. The guitars have a surprising warmth to them for such a "produced" sound and the keyboards manage to skirt the edge of cheese, without falling in. The drumming? Take a guess. And the vocals? Just what we've come to expect: a screaming banshee with bi-polar. Another killer album from The Freak. Can't wait to see them on the 28th.
