OH my God, what a piece of shit. I know I'm not one to judge any band at all, but I know how MH were before this album: ONE OF THE MOST FUCKING HEAVY BANDS IN THE STRATOSPHERE.

Just another thing, I saw them live and they are good as fuck, but I hate the second guitar player. He's an asshole. Never said a word, never moved, never played something outstanding. For me, the second guitar player killed Machine Head with his mediocre playing. Fuck that.

This album blows goats. Whatever happened to the catchy heavy riffs that appeared on Burn My Eyes or The More Things Change? Their first two albums really had me hooked and craving for more, and then came The Burning Red. What a piece of CENSORED that was, eh? And what was with that cover of the Police's "Message In A Bottle?"

Then I read that Ross Robinson would once again join their ranks, and that there was going to be a return to form of old Machine Head, so I was somewhat psyched about Supercharger. I bought it, slipped it into my CD player... my head hung in shame, and I asked myself, "Is this the same Robb Flynn who gave us such bliss with the first two Machine Head CD's, and who used to be in the once great Vio-Lence? It can't be, it has to be an imposter."

I have only listened to this CD once, and believe me, it's not even worth a second glance. The only thing it could be useful now is a coaster for my beer. 'Nuff said

Machine Head continues in the tradition of "The Burning Red" on this album. Everything they became on their first twp great albums is gone. What a disappointment...

Go tour with Powerman 5000, they are heavier than you!

I think that the last two Machine Head albums have been criticised accurately. The Burning Red is a shameful Korn-wannabe, or whatever. It has good tracks, okay, but refuses to deliver what Burn My Eyes did with such art and passion. I am convinced that if Logan Mader (guitars, first two albums; now in Soulfly) and Chris Kontos (drums on Burn My Eyes; now in Konkhra) were still in the band, the last two albums would not have been such a disappointment. Anyway, I have just listened to 4 tracks of this album, and I have to say I did not get very impressed at all. Sure, it is heavy and everything you want, but I neither like Ahrue Luster's guitar playing or Dave McClain's mediocre drumming. Too much noises and shit from Luster, and McClain just cannot play as the great Kontos did. There is just one word to describe nu-Machinehead... MEDIOCRE!
