I agree that if you're looking to be blown away by sheer intensity and raw power, Kamelot's probably not for you. I've been listening to them since their third release, Siege Perilous, and have all 5. I don't have the live album, but I'm told it's great. I fear they may be better live than in studio, too. But, if you like melodic progressive metal, and medieval themology, you'll probably reside at the other end of the spectrum, thinking them a most awesome band. Me, I am in the middle on Karma. I liked The Fourth Legacy better, but will continue to buy their albums. Their musicianship is not to be denied as fantastic, no matter your tastes.
