This album is a full onslaught of killer riff after killer riff of black metal mastery. This album is way better than Slayer, Possessed, Mayhem, and Emperor in their days of glory (which are now lost forever for those bands). I use those bands for a comparison becasue this album is a blend of black metal and thrash, the kind you have all heard on Immortal's past 3 albums. But on this album Immortal have surpassed all forms of greatness they have set in the passed. Simply this album kills from begining to end. Go out and buy it, if you have any respect for yourself as a metalhead.

What a blast!!! Now this is what I call black metal, technical and powerful, you can feel the darkness surround you slowly, you can feel the powers of evil taking you higher, the best Immortal album so far, and one of the three best albums in the history of black metal.
