The new Destruction is awesome. This is my 1st Destruction but I love how they did their cover to Metallica's song "Whiplash." This is the best cd next to Blaze's Silicon Messiah, King Diamond's House of God, and Venom's Resurrection. The next cd of Iced Earth, Horror Show will be masterpiece like Destruction's All Hell Breaks Loose, Venom's Resurrection, King Diamond's House of God, and Blaze Bayley's Silicon Messiah.

Destruction, perhaps Germany's earliest Thrashers are back, but this time as a trio with original vocalist and bassist Schmier (who left after the band released Live Without Sense from their Release From Agony Tour) and guitarist Mike. The two recruited new drummer Sven Vormann and set out to Annihilate the world with their deadly brand of Thrash. The guitar riffs are all very catastrophic and barbaric with the classic Destruction sound and, other than the vocals of Schmier, which are a bit deeper than they were the last time he put his voice to tape, Destruction sounds just like they did 10 years ago. In my opinion the deeper, rawer sounding vocals help make this CD sound heavier than Release From Agony, and should help it become one of, if not the heaviest Thrash album of 2000. All Hell Breaks Loose starts out very aggressive with "The Final Curtain Falls," and doesn't let up an ounce helping it easily living up to the band name. Listening to this CD almost instantaneously made me want to pop in every other Destruction album I own, perhaps because of the new version of "Total Disaster" which is very brutal, but perhaps it should've gone on the album as a B-side? The import version of this CD also includes the band's "Bestial Invasion From Hell" demo which is a nice bonus for extreme Destruction fans. The following lines from "The Butcher Strikes Back" easily describe what Destruction is once again determined to deliver, "Destruction Strikes Back, Devastating Thrash Attack."
