I too was excited to hear of a new release from the Saint. But the bottom line is don't waste your money. Dissapointing at best.

Having been a big fan of Armored Saint's last studio album Symbol of Salvation, I was quite ecstatic when I heard John Bush was lending his impressive vocal talents to another Saint record. John Bush simply makes any band better. Case in point, Anthrax is far better with Bush than Belladonna. So the day this album came out, I went out and laid down my 20 bucks, and said to myself "totally worth it."

As soon as I put the CD in my stereo, I knew this album was something special. "Pay Dirt" is a kick ass metal tune that any metalhead could bang his head to. My personal fave is the catchy "The Pillar." I've played that song over and over, and I still can't get enough. Needless to say, at this point I considered my 20 bucks well spent. I think Bush's time with Anthrax is very evident in this Saint album. His vocals sound so clean, and the songs just seem to play to that. I'm not saying that this is the best metal album of all time, or even the best Armored Saint album (that honor belongs to Symbol of Salvation), but it is a truly great metal album. Check out "After Me, the Flood," "Creepy Feelings," "Deep Rooted Anger" and "What's Your Pleasure." If you ever liked any Armored Saint, or even Anthrax with Bush, you have to check out this album. You will not be disappointed!
